While getting ready to open the doors to Esiam Heritage Academy, Kwesi and Melissa learned that Faith International school at Ochiso, a village 30 minutes north of Breman Esiam, was about to go bankrupt. They bought the school, moved it to a new site, and later renamed it Ochiso Heritage Academy at the request of the Parent-Teacher Association. There are currently 300 students in Pre-K through 9th grade at this school; and the first set of graduates, the class of 2009, scored 100% pass on the national exams. All the graduates are doing well in various secondary schools.
